A first original Garden of track written built upon Marks drums. Inspired somewhat by AIC, it was great fun. Jerry's guitars are wicked as usual, taking things to a new level of the earthy yet alternative grunge we love so much.
Sometimes the best intentions can result in disappointment. This is pointedly about world leaders doing what they say is for "the good" but underlying drive for wealth and power always taint their actions.
Jerry is a great support in working outside genre and creating such a diversity of styles to work with, so again we've created a track nothing like we've done before.
A great live feeling track. I scratched out the lyrics and recorded this in about 20 minutes. One of the great jams that went down and needed no re-working.
Marks drums are now the backbone of so many of our rock tracks... It keeps me wanting to write more!
Okay, the Jerry Cantrell influence in my writing style is clearly evident here. But really it's the guitar work by Jerry that directed the outcome of the vocals here.
Jerry titled this one temper.... really it's more a slow simmer with a controlled yet destructive venting haha.
What can I say, Bobshock has shocked me again with another unreal recreation. This is what the clubs should be playing for the revved up emos out there. Wouldn't cheer them up but maybe remind them no one cares about them LOL.
When steve posted this track with the reference to drag racing, I had to jum in on the theme.
This was fun to belt out! The story is a driver who has a habit of losing the race, then his girl wants to dump him... but when he wins, hey she wants him!
